18.6. Unattended batteries

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The condition of the rechargeable battery is determined by the voltmeter or by the indicator.
2. The condition of the rechargeable battery is determined by coloring of the built-in indicator which depends on battery type. As a rule, green coloring of the indicator corresponds to the normal state of the battery, black – on need of charging, yellow or transparent – indicates that the battery failed and it should be replaced.
3. When checking tension the voltmeter there have to pass not less than 6 hours after the last trip (it is also allowed to turn on before check driving beam of headlights on 30 c).
4. The rechargeable battery is completely discharged if tension is lower than 12,2 Century.
5. Remove the discharged battery and load.
