3.8. Repair of the oil pump

Oil pump

1 – pump cover;
2 – external rotor;
3 – internal rotor;

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The screw-driver with a flat edge, wound by rags, remove a sealing ring.
2. Turn out seven screws and uncover the oil pump.
3. Remove external and internal rotors from the case of the oil pump.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a state and, if necessary, replace the following details:
      - the deformed or damaged case and/or a cover of the oil pump;
      - the worn-out or damaged plunger;
      - the weakened or broken spring.
2. Measure by a metal ruler and the probe a side gap of rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible side gap of rotors of the oil pump: 0,18 mm

3. Measure by the probe a gap between teeths of rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible gap between teeths of rotors of the oil pump: 0,18 mm

4. Measure by the probe a gap between an external rotor and the case of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible gap between an external rotor and the case of the oil pump: 0,376 mm

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install external and internal rotors in the case of the oil pump.
2. Apply a thin film of sealant on a carving of screws of fastening of a cover.

3. Establish a cover of the oil pump and fix by screws.

Inhaling moments: 6-9H • m

4. Oil engine a working edge of a new sealing ring and a nest of a sealing ring.
5. Install a sealing ring in the case of the oil pump so that the end face of a sealing ring acted from a pump housing on 0,5–1,0 mm.
