5.16. Sensor of measurement of a consumption of air (TED)
Removal
Prevention
Do not throw and do not strike the sensor as it will lead to its damage.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Disconnect the socket from the air consumption sensor. |
2. Weaken collars of fastening of an inlet air branch pipe from two parties of the sensor of a consumption of air. |
3. Disconnect an inlet air branch pipe from the air consumption sensor. |
 |
4. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the sensor of a consumption of air to an arm. |
5. Remove the air consumption sensor. |
|
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
Visually check the air consumption sensor on absence of damage. If necessary, replace it. |
|
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Apply the air consumption sensor to an inlet air branch pipe and an arm. |
2. Screw two bolts of fastening of the sensor to an arm. Inhaling moment: 7,8–10,8 N • m
|
3. Connect an inlet air branch pipe to the sensor. |
4. Tighten collars from two parties of the sensor. |
 |
5. Connect the socket to the air consumption sensor. |
6. Launch the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature. Leave the engine to work at idling rotation frequency. |
7. Connect the voltmeter between contact 4 (RED/WHT a wire) and weight. |
8. Make sure that tension changes within 0,8–1,2 Century. |
 |
9. Switch off the engine and be convinced that tension is in limits of 3,5-4,0 Century. |
