5.18. Sensor of provision of a butterfly valve

Check of resistance

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between contacts 2 and 3 sockets.
3. Check that resistance of the sensor increases in proportion to an angle of rotation of a butterfly valve.

Resistance: 2±0,4 kOhm at the closed butterfly valve

4. If resistance of the sensor differs from the required values, replace it.
5. Connect the socket to the sensor.

Check of tension

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the butterfly valve is completely closed.
2. Include ignition.
3. Connect the voltmeter to contacts 3 (BLU/ORG wire) and 1 (BLK/GRN wire) the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
4. Check that the butterfly valve is completely closed.
5. Completely open a butterfly valve and check tension on contact 3 sockets.
Tension at completely closed butterfly valve: 0,4-0,6B
Tension at completely open butterfly valve: 4,1-4,3B
6. Otherwise replace the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.

Prevention

The sensor of provision of a butterfly valve is not adjusted and not replaced as it is an integral part of throttle knot.
