5.19. The warmed oxygen sensor

1. Launch the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature
2. Leave the engine to work at idling rotation frequency.
3. Connect the voltmeter between contacts 2 (GRN/BLU wire) and weight.
4. Several times increase and reduce the frequency of rotation of the engine.
5. Check that tension changes within 0-1,0B.


Tension on the back sensor of oxygen changes not so quickly as on the forward sensor.

6. Otherwise check:
      – system of onboard diagnostics;
      – check system;
      – check vacuum in an inlet collector;
      – check fuel pressure.
7. If all systems as it should be, replace the oxygen sensor.
