Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Tighten the parking brake.
2. Launch the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
3. Switch off everything consumers of electric energy.
4. Connect to the engine a tachometer and to a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder the stroboscope sensor.
5. On combination of tags on a pulley of a bent shaft with the index, check an ignition advancing corner.

Ignition advancing corner: 8±5 ° to VMT (at an idling rotation frequency)


Prevention

The corner of an advancing of ignition is not regulated.


6. If the corner of an advancing of ignition differs from demanded, replace an electronic control unit with the engine.

Check of frequency of rotation of idling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Tighten the parking brake.
2. Launch the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
3. Switch off everything consumers of electric energy.
4. Connect an inductive tachometer to a spark plug of the first cylinder or connect a tachometer wire to contact 3 diagnostic sockets (DLC).

Prevention

Frequency of rotation of idling is not regulated and supported by an engine electronic control unit. Change of frequency of rotation of idling can be caused by violations in operation of the valve of a control system of the frequency of rotation of idling (IAC) or leaks in an inlet collector.


5. At the gear shifting lever measure idling rotation frequency in neutral situation.

Idling rotation frequency: 800±50 min.-1

6. Disconnect a tachometer from a spark plug of the first cylinder or the diagnostic socket (DLC).
7. Switch off the engine.
